The design for our 80th anniversary mug Terriers Church 1930-2010

Our church was dedicated on 11th October 1930 and during Lent this year we continue to support our 80th Birthday Appeal. We have already sent nearly £300 each to St George's Church in Britwell, to the HIV/AIDS Peer Education Centre in Taung, South Africa, and to Project India, supporting schools in the Diocese of Nandyal. The same sum has been set aside for the "Lutheran Cathedral" in Sibiu, Romania. We hope to more than double these sums in the remaining months of the appeal - and our Lenten fund-raising will play a vitally important part.

We are planning to publish a new edition of the Terriers Cook-book in support of the 80th Birthday Appeal. Please send or e-mail your favourite recipes to the Vicarage before Sunday, 3rd April. We plan to publish the book at Pentecost (12th June ).

Donations to the 80th Birthday Appeal can be made by cheque (payable to "St Francis Church Terriers PCC") and sent to 80th Birthday Appeal, St Francis Vicarage, Terriers, High Wycombe HP13 5AB. The special 80th anniversary commemorative mug is still available fom the same address, price £4.90 (plus £2.00 post and packing if ordered from outside the parish) and features a colour picture of the church, as shown in the design above.
